How to Apply for Singapore Personal Access (SinPass)

Singapore Personal Access (SingPass) is a registered and secured user ID and Password to access Singapore government e-service. Every Singapore citizen above 15 years can be eligible to have SingPass account to access e-services like Central Provident Fund (CPF) account balances check, filing taxes and applying for public housing, registering your new vehicle and so on, it can be accessed more than 60 government agencies.

Who can apply?

  1. Singapore Citizen and Permanent Resident
  2. Employment Pass and Personalised Employment Pass holders
  3. EntrePass holders
  4. S-Pass holders
  5. Dependant Pass holders (of EP, PEP, EntrePass and S-Pass holders)
  6. Long Term Visit Pass-Plus (LTVP+) holders
  7. Selected Work Permit Holders who require SingPass authentication to perform e-Service transactions.

Singapore Citizens & Permanent Residents (PR)

For Citizen: 

NRIC or Singapore Passport or Singapore Driving Licence

For National Service personnel: 

National Service IDs (11Bs) from SAF, SPF and SCDF or NRIC or Singapore Passport orSingapore Driving Licence

For PR: 

NRIC or Passport with Re-entry Permit orSingapore Driving Licence

Employment Pass, Personalised Employment and EntrePass Holder

- Long Term Pass card or; 

- Valid Pass from MOM and Passport

S-Pass holders

S-Pass card

Eligible Work Permit (WP) holders

WP card

Dependant Pass holders (of EP, PEP, EntrePass and S-Pass)

- Long Term Pass card or; 

- Valid Pass from MOM and Passport

Long-Term Visit Pass-Plus (LTVP+) holders (Issued by ICA)

Visit Pass (PLUS) Card

How to Register SingPass Account?

There is 2-ways to register SingPass

I) Register SingPass Online

Step 1: Click on the Website

Step 2: Read the Instruction carefully and click the term of use checkbox, then click the ‘Register Now’ button to proceed to Form.

Step 3: Fill all the mandatory details mentioned in the form and Click ‘Submit’ button.

Your SingPass password will be mailed to your registered local address within 4 working days.

Note: 1. you can only register for a SingPass account once. All SingPass account requests are final and cannot be canceled or re-submitted.

2. As your SingPass password will be mailed to your registered local address, please ensure that your address registered with the Government is up-to-date before proceeding.

II) Register through in person

Walk through to apply your SingPass at the Counter Locations  with the documents mentioned above in Document Required table.

You can receive your SingPass immediately after applying at the Counter.
